Dr. Steven Herting

Dr. Steve Herting graduated in 2018 from Life Chiropractic College West. He practiced under the mentorship of his father for about a year before moving to Montana where he has truly found his home. He partnered up with Dr. Terri Hamilton who has been another amazing mentor over the last few years. With her guidance, he has really refined his skills and patient care.

Dr. Steve specializes in the Activator and Impulse methods of chiropractic. These are techniques that involve specialized instruments to gently correct misalignment of spinal bones. These instruments are lower force than the traditional manipulation style of chiropractic care that has been around for a little over a century. There is no twisting and cracking of joints involved in these type of treatments. Dr. Steve finds that this style of treatment is more specific and easier on both the patient and the chiropractor during the adjustment. He feels that his purpose is to allow people who are nervous about having their body worked on; get the opportunity to experience all that chiropractic can offer them.

He has been interested in the outdoors and sports since he was a child which led him to study all things relating to biology and the human body as he got older. He is well versed in various forms of alternative healing such as exercise, breathwork, meditation, essential oils, nutrition and therapeutic movement. He loves discussing all of these topics and how they can help someone reach their true potential.

In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, running and spending time with his wife, Jill, who he met in Great Falls. He loves all of his patients and the communities he serves in Helena and Great Falls. When he moved here, that was the first time he really felt like he found a community that he truly wanted to be a part of.

Dr. Terri Hamilton

Dr. Terri Hamilton graduated from Central Washington University in 1979, and LifeWest Chiropractic College in 1993. She has a zest for life that translates to her patients, and loves to hear her patients say that they feel better already immediately after their appointments.

Dr. Terri practiced in Helena from 1995 until she recently retired in 2022. She is moving on to her next adventure of sailing the world with her husband on their 44 foot sail boat. Terri loves everything about the ocean. She is an underwater photographer and a certified mermaid when she has her scuba gear on. She trained Dr. Steve on many of her techniques and imparted as much of her wisdom that she could in the 3 years they worked together.
